Whole Pastured Chickens

Raised on certified organic feed, green pastures, and sunshine at Four Leaf Farm in Trumansburg, these happy chickens spent their days scratching, chasing bugs, and lounging in the shade.

Our family of 4 gets three meals from a single chicken: typically we roast or grill the whole bird the first night, make a chicken pot pie or chicken salad with the leftover scraps the next night, and feast on chicken soup made from the bones and last bits of meat the third night. So while a whole 4-6lb bird may seem like an extravagance, it's not once you consider the volume of meals it can provide.

Note that the listed price is for a 5lb frozen bird. Our birds' weight range is 4-5.5 lbs, so you will be charged for the exact weight of what you receive.
